We're at least partially moved, now. We've got mattresses, and Ben and I have beds. We have a kitchen table, chairs, and the couch. Kitchen stuff and the washer/dryer were already there. Clothes are mostly there, too. Mostly. I can't find my leather boots, the knee high ones, that lace up. I loved them. I need to get the soles replaced ( Read more... )

So last night we camped out in the new house. I rather like my room, though it'll be nice to have my furniture. That comes later this weekend, though. Tomorrow, I think. For now, it's like I'm back in Korea: sleeping on a mat on the floor. Only this floor (luckily) is carpeted ( Read more... )

It seems okay. The staff were on top of everything, and very friendly. The student guide was pretty nice too. The guidance counselor really was a comfort. She sat down, and helped me pick classes. She also took the time to pick good teachers for me ( Read more... )

Unfortunately, we're only allowed one dog, and I'm on the verge of crying because that means we have to choose a dog to leave behind for up to six months, at the worst.
